Scriptural Foundation

“What Jesus did in Canna of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.”  (John 2:11)

OINOS is the Greek word for wine. The word was frequently used by philosophers, poets, and ancient biblical writers to denote joy, happiness, and abundance. Wine was considered an essential element at a Jewish feast.  “Without wine,” write the rabbis, “there is no joy.”

OINOS Consulting is founded on the scriptural principle exemplified by Jesus Christ in a miracle he performed at a wedding in Canna of Galilee (John 2). By transforming six water-pots of water into sweet wine, Jesus verified that as the Holy One of God, His Grace has the ability to increase capacity, guide to certainty, and reveal God’s glory.

By fusing robust educational and psychometric theories with this scriptural principle, OINOS Consulting is dedicated to the task of helping educational leaders, teachers, and their students transform the “water” of their respective “stone jars” of teaching, learning, and leading into a most powerful and effective dowry – the OINOS – of instructional knowledge, skills, and joy-filled attitudes.
